Proposition 10 defeated, so now what? Given several individual cities have vowed to take up the rent control issue themselves should Prop 10 not pass, landlords must be proactive. In the event the city you own in still presses on with “Rent Freezes” one must be vigilant in positioning their properties (and their equity) for maximum growth.
